SYNOPSIS
The man wears a cash bag on the desk of the theater manager and states that the theater will be closed. The staggering actor Laurence, nicknamed Lorik, is a terrible shock. The theater is all his life, he wears masks and costumes even in real life – Lorik precisely avoids being himself and avoiding excessive contacts with other people. If, however, one strange incident gives Laurence the ability to jump from one body to another and experience everything that another person experiences, he is forced to deal with the very personal problems of other people. In addition, he has the opportunity to play completely new roles, from a neighbour to a small sick girl and politician, and hopefully to end up with him.
CONCEPT
Lorik genuinely paints a picture of the Armenian society. Theatrical and eclectic, deep and light, engaging and touching – in this tragic comedy full of magical and social realism. The tragicomedy will go through the vicious aspects of modern society, including social inequality and human indifference to every kind of injustice. With the help of the film’s main character, spectators will find themselves in various life situations, experiencing boundless happiness and pain… Such dramatic situations will force the protagonist to contemplate on the issues around him and become a part of them. He will become a “ghost” for others, but he will finally turn human himself, experiencing the highest human feeling, love. The film will definitely touch the hearts of all kinds of audience, awakening only good because it is about life, love and devotion.
